Hellos are far better than goodbyes

Today was a great day! A day that many of us have been waiting for. I woke up around 10 and then I went to meet Megan, Elise, and Harry. We hung around South Shore for a bit and then Megan went to work and me and Elise just continued hanging out. We didn't do much, but I had to run around and get some things for Kira's arrival. Finally around seven I basically ran to Ivan and Melanie's house and I had the long awaited hugs and screams from Kira and Maja. I have missed them so much. We just sat around the kitchen and hung out. Some other friends came over and we all just sat around and talked and watched Sabine be Sabine. Afterwards we all went to Safeway where Kira and Maja got their heavy whipping cream and fruit...lol and we ran into Alex so I was able to introduce him to Ariel, Kira, Maja, and Alina who had come with us. It was just nice to spend time with them and be able to be in there presence again. It was almost like the distance hadn't even happened. It felt like everything went back to normal and nothing really changed.

Los Angeles

So this past weekend me, Elise, and Megan flew down to L.A to have a little mini vacation. The first day we just spent hanging around Huntington Beach and then we went home and watched movies. We tried to go play laser tag but it ended up being different than what they said on the phone. And then me and Megan had to sprint down the block after Megan's dad before we got lost in Torrance. When we got home we played wiifit where I hurt my sides hella bad. They hurt for days after that. But it was still okay. The night ended with me being delusional and weird.
The nexy day in L.A it was pouring rain, so we ended up just going to see the Hunger Games. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did, but I thought it was really good. It inspired me to really want to read the books. Especially since there's so much more that could have been explained in the movie that is explained in the books. After that we drove over to Newport Beach and went to fashion island. We spent the entire time in forever 21, and then the mall closed early. I guess it was because it was a Sunday, but it was still a little weird. Then we just watched the Kardashians and Megan passed out like usual. We kinda had to go to bed early anyway since we were going to be spending the whole next day in Disneyland.
On Monday we woke up around eight something and then we all got ready and headed over to Anaheim around nine in the morning. We spent the whole freaking day at Disneyland. Seriously like fifteen hours. It was painful. Lol, I think we were all pretty tired of it around like five pm, but we stayed strong and stayed until midnight. We went on Big Thunder Mountain FIVE times and splash mountain three...I never thought that they would be able to even get me to go on that one. Since we went on at night there wasn't really a line and then I was the one that got completely soaked. My cardgian was so wet that I had to take it off and only wear one jacket dispite the freezing cold. The whole day Elisse had been talking about this damn tiki room and she finally got us to go on it, or well sit in it at the end of the day. The whole day kind of made me realize that there really is such a thing as too much Disneyland. But anyway, that is pretty much the whole trip.

Something new

Wow, I haven't posted in so long when so much has happened.
I am now officially in a relationship with Alex. I mean we have been anyway, but we decided to make it like boyfriend/girlfriend official. Things have been going really well, and I am happy that we have finally made it to this point after the year of maybe, maybe not. Honestly, I think I was stupid to wait this long because we get along so well with each other and I think we are pretty compatible.
We've been hanging out with Megan and Derick and it's been good times.
There's been many funny moments as well, I need to start blogging more so that I can remember them. I really don't want to forget a moment. Although every time I think of my creepy hair thing I can't stop laughing. I'm leaving for L.A tomorrow for three days and that seems like such a long time to be apart. That sounds ridiculous to anyone else, but after seeing someone every single day, whether it's being at work or hanging out, it's just a long time.
I'm happy that I have someone who actually cares about me, and accepts me for everything that I am. It's really nice to have someone that I can be completely myself around. But anyway, I'm going to stop ranting about my relationship and end this post. I need to pack since I have to leave for my flight around 9:30. Yay for getting away.

Oh, Summertime

Lately things have been so incredibly stressful. I had to basically pay half the rent the other day and blow my savings. It was depressing because now I can't go to Germany in the Summer. Im going to talk to my friends though and see if i'm going to see if I can come during the winter  break and see them then. Plus Germany would be really beautiful in the Winter.
Anyway, today was a really nice day. It felt like Summer. Me Derick and Megan all went to the Harbor Bay Club and we went swimming all day and went in the hot tub. Then we went to Edison school and sat on the swings and just talked about things. After we said hit to Sam and Jessica and dropped Megan off with them me and Derick went to this mexican restaurant on the west end and had dinner. Let's just say it's no La P... But other than that it was really just a nice summery day.
But yeah, I'm hoping that things start looking up and stop being so stressful. Another thing I kinda want to get out of my system is that i'm thinking about moving out. I know it would be a tough decision and it would be hard at times but I think that it might be right for me to get out of the house and learn to be my own person and continue supporting myself in another way. I talked with Derick about it who is also looking to move out and he said he wouldn't mind living with me and his cousin Sam was also looking to do the same thing. It's good because they both would be able to support themselves and would never be late on rent or anything like that so it kinda puts a good option for me. Megan is looking into staying here in Alameda for the next year and that would be pretty cool if she did that too because then maybe I would be more ready to go to L.A with her after a year. I don't know, it's not set in stone or anything but moving out is kind of a nice idea.

Here are some pictures from the HBC.

Wanderlust

Yesterday I hung out with Megan for a bit and then hung out with Dj, Jenay, and their friend Sebastian and all we did was play each other in draw something. Lol that game is so weirdly addicting.
After that Jazmine picked me up and we went to the Shattuck cinema in Berkeley. It was so cute. You walk in and the screen was covered by a red curtain and they were huge chairs. What made it better was that since the isles had slightly bigger gaps than most movie theaters everyone sounded so much farther away. So when people laughed it almost sounded like we had our own personal laugh track. But honestly, that was the funniest movie I have ever seen. It was so fucking funny. It was more original than most comedies.
I would actually go and see that movie again. You know the film was good when every leaves the cinema still laughing. Anyway, after that I got home and skyped Alex like usual and then eventually I kinda fell asleep. Apparently he broke one of his dishes trying to make loud sounds to wake me up. haha
But anyway, I guess that was my day.
